The story of the Little RedBot
Little Red's parents were two research robots developed at Iguana Robotics. Red's mother was a tall beauty, named Marilyn. She dedicated her life to understanding how biological pattern generators work in humans and animals and how the understanding of these system would help us build better robots one day. Unfortunately, Marilyn was tempermental. In common parlance, she was a "high maintenance" spouse. Little Red's dad, on the other had, was a simlple bot. Indeed, so simple he did not have a name. He was sometimes referred to as "that walking mechanism." In one incarnation, after minor surgery, he became known as "the running man." He too was powered by biological pattern generators. In this case a In silico centeral pattern generator. Red's dad though simple, was hard working. He never failed. He did what they asked of him at the research lab where he met Red's mother.
Out of the union of the two, the Little RedBot was born. As reliable as his dad, yet sophisticated enough to help us with cutting edge research.
