TomCat is a research quality, quadruped robot that moves at a speed of two body lengths per second. AVAILABLE NOW!

Stats

  • Distance between feet (width wise): 4.5 inches
  • Distance between front and back shoulders (length wise): 9.0 inches
  • Number of motors: 2 per leg + 1 for torso twist = 9
  • Sensors: 1 FSR under each foot + 1 binary trip sensor on each foot (optional) + 1 gyroscope (OPTIONAL) = 13 total
  • Weight: TBD
  • Height when standing: aprox. 7.3 inches
  • Servo Controller: MCB 2.0 (I2C, CAN and TTL Level RS-232 interface).
  • Each TomCat is custom built to order from strong ABS plastic. TomCat can be modified for your needs (Click HERE).
